Custom A1 Sandwich Frame

Description

Custom A1 Sandwich Board Frame

The Custom A1 Sandwich Frame is a professional-grade, double-sided pavement sign built on a lightweight aluminium frame. It displays a full A1 poster (840mm x 594mm) on each side, giving businesses two visible advertising faces from a single street-level unit.

Designed for daily outdoor use, the frame is weatherproof and folds completely flat when not in use, making it easy to store behind a counter or in a stockroom at the end of the day. Poster inserts swap in seconds without tools, so messaging can change as often as the business needs.

Who Uses A1 Sandwich Frames?

A1 sandwich frames are a staple of UK high street advertising. Any business with pavement frontage benefits from a double-sided A-frame sign positioned where foot traffic passes.

• Cafes and coffee shops displaying daily specials and offers
• Restaurants promoting lunch menus and evening deals
• Salons and barbers advertising walk-in availability and pricing
• Retail shops highlighting sales, new stock and seasonal promotions
• Estate agents displaying featured properties at branch entrances
• Event venues and exhibitions directing visitors and promoting schedules

The A1 display area is large enough to be read clearly from across the street, while the folding A-frame design means the sign can be brought indoors at closing time and set out again in seconds the next morning.

Why Choose an A1 Sandwich Frame?

Pavement signs work because they catch people at the point of decision. A pedestrian walking past a cafe is more likely to step inside when a sandwich board displays today’s specials than when the same offer sits on a website or social media post. The A1 format gives enough space for a clear headline, supporting detail and branding on each side.

• Two-sided display reaches foot traffic from both directions
• A1 size is readable from across the street
• Aluminium frame is lighter than steel and resists corrosion
• Poster changes take seconds, keeping messaging fresh
• No power supply, no installation, no planning permission required

Unlike digital signage, a sandwich frame has no running costs, no screen failures and no dependency on power or connectivity. It works the moment it is placed on the pavement.
